I am not aware of any logistic 5 parameter functions that are linear.  May I ask why you require linear?  If so, you can can try a simple linear equation such as: f(x) = ax + b

Have you tried a nonlinear 5PL fit yet?  If not, I would recommend you try that first in our &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.readerfit.com&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;free online curve fitting application&lt;/a&gt;.  You will also have the option of trying the linear fit as well.
