Get the most value from your MasterPlex software investment by using Custom Export Templates

Do you have several plate readers in the lab that produce different reports?  Need a way to standardize your analysis reports?  Want to save time exporting your data?  Whether you want to create powerful Excel reports or integrate with a database, MasterPlex Custom Export Templates will ensure that you are getting the most value from your MasterPlex analysis software investment.

You’re probably asking yourself, “Self, what is a MasterPlex Custom Export Template?”  Well, let me explain.

MasterPlex Custom Export Templates allow you to export analyzed data from MasterPlex QT, MasterPlex EX or MasterPlex ReaderFit in exactly the format you need.  They are designed to your specifications!

Benefits of having a Custom Export Template include saving time, creating consistency, ensuring lab compliance, and eliminating data silos.

Save valuable time spent copying and pasting to create reports with a Custom Export Template.  The report you need is automatically generated with a few clicks, and I think we can all agree that spending time making biological discoveries is better than spending time formatting reports!

Custom Export Templates create the same exact report format every time.  No matter who is analyzing data within MasterPlex, the report will always be exported in the same expected format.  This can ensure that everyone who is analyzing data in MasterPlex is complying with your lab’s reporting standards.

Eliminate data silos!  Whether you use the Custom Export Templates to integrate MasterPlex with a database or create the personalized report you need, using Custom Export Templates ensure your data is not stuck in a useless format or standalone application.

Current customers like Roche, Gilead, Stanford University, UCSF, and Novartis (just to name a few) are creating enhanced, multi-sheet Excel reports.  Customers are using the Customer Export Template to integreate with a database or LIMS/LIS in a variety of file formats (.txt, XML, HTML…).  Because it is easy to use and generates the same export format each time, current customers are able to track valuable meta-data.  They can track why a sample failed a quality control screen or which LOT of reagents were used in an assay.

MasterPlex Licensing Schemes – Stand Alone, Network, or Term Licensing

MiraiBio offers 3 licensing schemes for the MasterPlex software:

  1. Stand Alone – This is the most commonly used licensing scheme where each purchased license is installed on a single computer to run and activate the MasterPlex software. This is a perpetual license that does not expire. This is the most convenient scheme to manage and install. Stand Alone license installation instructions.

  2. Network – This is a shared licensing scheme that involves the MasterPlex Network License Manager. For each x number of purchased licenses, there will be x number of allowed concurrent or simultaneous users using the MasterPlex software on the entire network. This means that the MasterPlex software can be installed on all the client computers that is on the same network as the MasterPlex Network License Manager. This scheme is usually more involved as far as the setup goes and could require your IT group to make sure the network security setup will allow such a configuration. Network license installation instructions.

  3. Term – Term licensing is similar to Stand Alone licensing except that it expires after a certain duration. Term Licensing durations include the 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 12, or 24 month options. The software license expires at the end of the purchased term and also includes all major upgrades released during the term. Term license installation instructions.

With the exception of the Term Licensing, the type of license is not fixed to a sale: Rather it is decided when the time comes for the customer to fill out the online product registration form.
