New update for MasterPlex 2010 just released with more powerful competitive binding curve fits and more
A new free update for MasterPlex 2010 has just been released with some powerful new features that make it that much easier to do curve fitting with MasterPlex. If you are a current customer, please download the installer (QT download link, ReaderfFit download link, EX download link) and launch it to do the upgrade. Here is the list of new features and changes by module:
- Improve 0 Standard Handling – If the user indicates a zero standard, MasterPlex will automatically use it to define the limits of the curve. This is especially useful in defining the upper limits of the curve for competitive binding assays.
- New Calculation on Control Wells – When Control Groups are indicated as the sample type, users can now enter expected values for them and see the residual and % recovery calculations for the control samples.

- Failed QC Column in View Results tab – The data table in the View Results tab now has a new data field called QC Flags which display why samples have failed the Quality Control Manager.
- Templates for Quality Control Manager – The MasterPlex templating system is available for the QC Manager to allow users to quickly load up previously used QC thresholds for quick time-savings and consistent analyses.
- Glide Feature for Curve – Glide along the curve and get instant x and y values for any point on the curve.
- Real-time Status Updates on Calculations – To further improve data integrity, there are status updates now to remind users that they have made changes that affect the calculated values (i.e. edited dilution factors, marked outliers) and that a re-calculation is required.
- LLOD and ULOD Values Now Displayed – The LLOD and ULOD values in the Quality Control Manager are now displayed
- Improved Support for Meso Scale Discovery Compatibility – There is improved support for the MSD platform export data file.
