MicroPlex Microspheres (formerly named Carboxylated Beads), LumAvidin™ Beads, and SeroMAP™ Microspheres

Luminex Carboxylated and LumAvidin Beads

The powerful multiplexing capabilities of the Luminex systems and software are due to advanced chemistry and simplicity of the Luminex® Coupling Beads.

Strengths

  • Rapid solution-phase kinetics and thus reduces incubation times.
  • Powerful multiplexing with up to 100 individually colored 5.6 micron, polystyrene beads per MTP well.
  • Simple and reproducible bead chemistries increase application flexibility including cytokine, various immunoglobulins, SNPs, viral loads and more.

LumAvidin Beads

LumAvidin Beads are general use components for further manufacture of xMAP bioassays. They are internally labeled with fluorescent dyes and contain a surface layer of Avidin for near covalent binding of biotin and biotinylated ligands.

SeroMAP Microspheres

These microspheres are specially formulated to reduce non-specific binding during serological-based assays. They are general use components for further manufacture of xMAP bioassays. They are internally labeled with fluorescent dyes and contain a surface layer of Carboxyl groups for covalent attachment of ligands (or biomolecules).
