Position: Sales Account Manager
Position Summary:
The primary responsibilities of this position are to handle all sales activity in the Southeast territory.
Position Location: Southeast area
Principal Accountabilities:
- Manage current accounts in the Southeast territory includes using CRM software to update information on all current accounts.
- Follow up on incoming leads, develop new business opportunities.
- Schedules product demonstrations.
- Generates leads and qualifies leads through cold calls.
- Makes sales presentations includes utilizing web demos.
- Continue to update and learn about company products.
- Develops relationships with key partners.
- Maintains sales database with required sales information.
Other Responsibilities:
Performs other work related duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
- B.S. degree in life science discipline.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in sales in the life science field.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel within territory and corporate office.
