Misha Shamashkin is Head of Nucleic Acid Process Development. He has 25 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with the core expertise in process development of mRNA, viral vectors, and mAbs.
After 12 years in various scientific roles at Pfizer, Misha contributed to establishing a scalable mRNA manufacturing process at Moderna, followed by a position at Sana Biotechnology, where Misha led efforts to bring lentiviral gene therapy products to the clinic.
Misha holds a Master of Science degree from Bowling Green State University and an undergraduate degree from Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia.
