Swati Mukherjee

Swati Mukherjee is Head of Translational Biology at Mirai Bio. She has extensive experience in translational development of novel therapeutics and vaccines.

Prior to joining Mirai Bio, Swati served as Head of Translational Science at Tome BioSciences where she was responsible for guiding early preclinical and translation for novel targeted gene therapy platform. Swati also led analytical development and translational medicine efforts to take gene-edited TiL therapy to the clinic at KSQ Therapeutics. Prior to that, she spent several years at Editas Medicine supporting preclinical and translational medicine efforts to move cell and gene therapy assets from preclinical to clinic evaluation. She was also part of several technical groups at Takeda working on development of vaccines and biologics.

Swati has a PhD in Molecular Biology from New Mexico State University and completed her post-doctoral fellowship at the NIAID, NIH.
